MONCLER X RICK OWENS
Moncler continues its creative dialogue with Rick Owens by unveiling a Spring Summer 2026 collection that marks a new phase in their collaboration.
For the first time, the project focuses entirely on a summer wardrobe designed for warm temperatures and constant movement.
Rick Owens introduces the idea of brucolic, a vision that blends architectural rigor with natural openness, expressed through lightweight yet structured silhouettes meant to transition between the city and open landscapes.
The collection adopts a genderless approach and plays with the designer’s signature proportions.
Technical nylon windbreakers, supple leather pieces, wide shorts, asymmetrical skirts and airy layers form a wardrobe built around mobility.
Trailgrip Megalace footwear supports this direction with a strong functional presence, while the colour palette moves between deep black, weathered olive and a striking cornelian red.
Each piece preserves Moncler’s technical standards while fully embracing Rick Owens’ radical visual language.
Imagery plays a central role in the project. Photographed by Juergen Teller, the campaign features Rick Owens and Michèle Lamy in natural settings far removed from traditional luxury backdrops.
The garments appear as tools for adaptation, created to confront light, wind and space rather than to serve a decorative purpose.
This approach reinforces the idea of clothing as an extension of the body, aligned with Rick Owens’ instinctive universe and Moncler’s ambition to push the boundaries of contemporary functional fashion.
