MILAN DESIGN WEEK 2025 : CONNECTED WORLDS

From April 7 to 13, Milan hosted a vibrant edition of its Design Week under the theme “Connected Worlds.” The city became an open stage where design was experienced as a performance.
Iconic brands like Cassina, Dimorestudio, and Kelly Wearstler took over theaters and historical venues to create immersive installations combining furniture, light, sound, and movement. Design moved beyond galleries to become a multi-sensory, emotional experience.

The Salone del Mobile reaffirmed its status as a global reference, featuring over 2,000 exhibitors showcasing their visions of the future. Euroluce highlighted innovative lighting, while SaloneSatellite gave a platform to young talents from 37 countries.
Major fashion houses also made their mark : Louis Vuitton exhibited its Objets Nomades in a Milanese palace, Hermès focused on minimalist elegance, and Gucci offered a bamboo-themed immersive installation. Art, design, and craftsmanship were in seamless harmony.

Across the city, installations emphasized sustainability, craftsmanship, and cultural storytelling.
Loewe invited 25 artists to reinterpret the teapot. Lexus and Delvis (Un)Limited created emotional, inhabitable spaces. In every neighborhood, a clear message emerged: design is no longer just about beauty or function — it’s about narrative, experience, and reconnecting people to their environments.
This edition revealed a more sensitive and human vision of tomorrow’s design.
