The Ski Brand: Dénériaz

Dénériaz, was born from the meeting between two men, Antoine Dénériaz and Alain Zanco. Antoine Dénériaz has been a world cup skier for more than 10 years and Alain Zanco, has been a ski developer and designer for more than 30 years. These two ski enthusiasts have combined their know-how and experience to develop exclusive and exceptional skis. As an Olympic champion, Antoine wanted to offer his customers the best possible equipment by combining performance and innovation. The skis were therefore, designed with a unique structure using noble materials in order to provide exceptional skiability and comfort.

The brand offers three types of skis: slope skis, all-mountain skis, and touring and mountaineering skis. They also offer custom-made and personalized skis on demand. Each ski is mainly made from wood. The brand uses balsa wood, which is practical for its lightness, stability and flexibility. They also use walnut trees, which is known for its stability and comfort. Bamboo, is used for its elasticity, lightness and ski control. Ash, is used for its snaps in powder and its responsiveness on the slopes. The concept and the exclusive character of the Deneriaz skis reside in their architecture with two lateral spars made from different woods. The spars surround a balsa wood core and act as a real catamaran, thus ensuring the quality of the skis' handling on all types of snow.

In terms of aesthetics, all of the skis are of a sober color, they are elegant and timeless. They have clean and pure lines, with soft and iridescent tones and a few golden notes, in reference to Antoine's medal. Dénériaz’s collections are emblematic, crossing eras while remaining in the air of time with a touch of French elegance! The production of all the skis is done by hand, in Doussard, in Haute-Savoie, France in a 600 m2 warehouse. There is a mechanical area, a carpentry area, a molding area and a finishing area, there is everything needed to create the finished product: the Dénériaz ski! You can find their skis in many parts of France, but also abroad like in the United States or in Japan.
