WILLY CHAVARRIA X ADIDAS

The collaboration between American-Mexican designer Willy Chavarria and Adidas is rooted in a bold and deeply personal aesthetic. First unveiled in January in Paris, this partnership pays tribute to Chicano culture and the designer’s family heritage, with Chavarria citing his father’s Superstars as an emotional starting point. The first drop, released on May 8 with a pair of Jabbar Low sneakers, will be followed by a wider launch on July 10.

Comprising 22 looks, the Spring-Summer 2025 collection blends sportswear and elegance: tricolor sweatshirts, basketball jerseys, headbands, bermuda shorts, as well as ruffled blouses, wide-leg trousers, and shoulder-padded jackets. Featuring Chavarria’s signature red hue, the collection merges athletic style with contemporary fashion codes, delivering a look that is both refined and socially engaged.

And this is just the beginning: during his Fall-Winter 2025–2026 show, the designer unveiled a second wave of co-branded Adidas pieces—this time with a rawer, more defiant tone, carrying a message of resistance. Once again, Willy Chavarria reinvents the iconic three stripes through the lens of his identity.
