A table that respects the architect's values...

The Liquid Glacial Table was created in 2012. Indeed, it is one of Hadid's signature works. The aim is to give an impression of movement, as if frozen water were flowing and turning to ice. The table creates an illusion of undulation.

To preserve the characteristics of the liquid, the table is made of acrylic. It respects the transparent and reflective properties of the material to achieve the desired look. What's more, light passes through the table, creating a play of light that changes according to the viewing angle.

A table AND a work of art!

Let's not forget that its aesthetic function comes very close to that of a work of art, and is one of Zaha Hadid's central characteristics. The “Liquid Glacial Table” is the result of modern manufacturing and is synonymous with innovation. Indeed, its organic, natural forms are Hadid's style, a unique style that creates her identity. This blend of deconstructivism and biomorphism (whose forms recall those of the organic world).
