A spa in the middle of the airport!
Dior wants to introduce a major innovation by installing a spa in an airport! The Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar, has the honor of welcoming Dior's latest innovation.
An innovative concept?
From now on, pampering yourself 7 days a week, 24 hours a day in an airport is a reality. In fact, this new “travel retail” concept, called the Dior Luxury Beauty Retreat, is becoming a must for travelers. What a great idea to pamper yourself while traveling!
Why this airport?
Voted the world's best airport in 2024 by the Worlds Airports Awards, Doha's Hamad International Airport is a resounding success and a magnet for luxury brands. Combining travel with luxurious wellbeing, with establishments such as a Ralph Lauren café and the first Louis Vuitton Lounge restaurant, this location sets itself apart by introducing an exceptional spa.
The Dior Luxury Beauty Retreat...
This spa, one of Dior's largest in the world, covers an area of 800 square meters, including a VIP suite called “Constellation” and eight cabins, spread over two floors. The VIP suite, designed for two people, includes a Jacuzzi and a private sauna. More than just a journey, this spa aims to offer an extraordinary experience.
A moment of relaxation...
Whatever the length of your stopover at this airport, the brand has you covered! Various treatments are available to suit your needs, such as “Escale à Doha”, a two-hour treatment for face and body, ideal for recuperating after a long journey, jet lag or a period of intense activity. In addition, a variety of massages, cryotherapy and LED therapy, among others, are offered to pamper you in every possible way. For men, the Dior Luxury Barber Experience offers a beauty interlude between flights, with a haircut or treatment inspired by the famous Dior Sauvage range.
In conclusion, the rise of luxury...
The brand does not limit itself to the spa, but also offers a wide range of products, such as make-up, skincare and fragrances, for customers to choose from. This partnership with Qatar Duty Free testifies to the obvious and varied spread of luxury. The figures also point to a record increase in airport traffic, with a rise of 27.6% (around 13 million visitors) in the first quarter of 2024.
