UMIT BENAN OPENS A NEW FLAGSHIP STORE IN MILAN

Turkish designer Umit Benan has opened his first flagship store in Milan, located at 6 Via Bigli in the heart of the fashion district. This project marks the triumphant return of the brand after a hiatus, supported by strategic investment from Davide De Giglio via D Capital. The boutique, designed by Martin Brulé Studio, blends retro elegance and modernity, using materials such as stainless steel, walnut, and rattan armchairs to create an intimate and refined atmosphere.

The space includes a showroom for the menswear collection and a new women’s line, Umit Benan Paradiso, inspired by seaside destinations like Saint-Barthélemy. Clients can also explore bespoke pieces crafted with Loro Piana fabrics and jackets produced by the Caruso atelier. Benan draws inspiration from the 1980s aesthetic, particularly the silhouettes of Gianfranco Ferré, to offer elegant and timeless fashion.

This opening is part of an international expansion strategy, with plans for stores in London and Los Angeles. Benan emphasizes that these spaces are not just shops but “points of connection” providing a personalized and authentic experience. With clients such as Brad Pitt, Christian Bale, and Lewis Hamilton, Umit Benan has established himself as a reference in discreet, made-to-measure luxury.
