Parisian fashion house Sézane unveils a creative capsule collection inspired by Australian fashionista and journalist Laura Brown's vision of French style.

This 25-piece capsule, created in partnership with Laura Brown, celebrates both Sézane's tenth year in business and long-standing friendships. The story behind the creation of this collection is a testament to the genuine bonds forged over the long term. Just before the pandemic, Sézane founder Morgane Sezalory contacted Brown via Instagram with the idea of working together. The two shared a passion for chic yet casual fashion, and Brown, known for her playful casualness, particularly admired Parisian style.

The autumn-winter collection offers a retro wardrobe with a slightly "old-money" charm, with very elegant ensembles combining navy blue knit sweaters, belted floral mini-skirts, leopard print coats, white high socks and platform loafers. Prices for this capsule range from 90 to 330 euros.

The French fashion brand hosted a dinner in Lower Manhattan, at Flynn McGarry's restaurant Gem Wine, to celebrate its brand-new capsule collection "French Enough", the result of a collaboration with journalist and friend of the brand, Laura Brown.

For her, the name of the "French Enough" collection echoes the question she posed to Morgane on the day they met: "Why can't we be French enough?"

Launched on November 19, almost four years after that fateful Instagram exchange between Morgane and Laura, the collection features limited-edition pieces harmoniously fusing Morgane and Laura Brown's styles. California cool meets French elegance in pants with front pockets, vintage-inspired denim, florals and '70s-inspired checks.
