PROMOSTYL SUPPORTS YOUNG DESIGNERS: CHIHUAHUA DRAGON CASTANEDA
The Promostyl showroom was delighted to welcome the Chihuahua Dragon brand, now called Castaneda, to promote the creations of young designers.
What is Chihuahua Dragon?
This Parisian brand embodies duality by mixing opposing categories. “We can do denim and easily show tailoring next to it, or very wearable everyday clothes next to avant-garde occasion wear,” explains Castaneda.
Their style is distinguished by an artistic vision and philosophy of life centered on elegance, rarity, humor, seduction and modernity. The brand's aesthetic draws inspiration from early Gothic art and 20th-century subcultures. The brand's origins also stem from the hours founder Ivo Barraza Castaneda spent watching Pokémon and Japanese pop TV.
When?
In January, at the Promostyl showroom at 5 passage Thiéré in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, their autumn-winter collection was on display for all to see. As you can see from the photos, during these few days they were able to share their creations with a large audience.
