POLÈNE OPENS ITS FIRST STORE IN HAMBURG

On September 1, 2025, Polène opened its first store in Germany at 71 Neuer Wall, in Hamburg’s Neustadt district. The 300 m² space was designed by the Norwegian architecture firm Snøhetta, marking their first collaboration with the brand. The boutique blends Polène’s minimalist aesthetic with the city’s port identity, featuring industrial materials such as corten steel columns and brick flooring, creating a modern yet warm atmosphere.

The store offers an immersive experience called “Craftsmanship at Work,” showcasing a modern tannery. Visitors can observe the leather transformation process through iconic machines such as a fulling machine, conveyor, and flexometer, illustrating the brand’s artisanal expertise. Additionally, a sculpted sofa by German designer Simon Stanislawski, made from recycled foam, adds an artistic touch to the space.

This Hamburg opening is part of Polène’s international expansion strategy, with existing stores in Paris, New York, Tokyo, Seoul, and London. The brand also plans openings in Copenhagen, Milan, and Beijing in 2025. The Hamburg boutique is open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
