ON INAUGURES A LARGE STORE IN SHENZHEN
Swiss sportswear brand On opened its largest store in China on March 5, 2026, located at the MixC World shopping center in Shenzhen, one of the city’s major shopping complexes.
The store spans 802 m² over two floors, reflecting the strategic importance of the Chinese market for On, which has become the brand’s second-largest market following strong growth in Asia-Pacific sales.
The store design draws inspiration from Shenzhen’s natural and urban environments, featuring open interiors with natural materials and interactive installations.
Inside, customers can discover the brand’s CloudTec technology through an interactive visual display, alongside its full range of collections, from running shoes to lifestyle wear, as well as outdoor and training gear.
The presence of century-old banyan trees reimagined into a green entrance area creates a welcoming environment for community events.
This store opening is part of On’s direct-to-consumer expansion strategy in China, where the company has already established over 80 stores in more than 30 cities since 2018, with the goal of reaching 100 stores by the end of the year.
The growth of the brand in China also highlights the emerging importance of apparel as the second pillar after shoes, reinforcing the role of retail spaces as physical touchpoints with customers and community hubs for sports enthusiasts.
