MELISSA X DIESEL

Brazilian brand Melissa has unveiled a bold new collaboration with Diesel, launched in mid-July 2025. This capsule combines Melissa’s iconic “jelly” aesthetic with Diesel’s rebellious energy to rethink footwear silhouettes, drawing inspiration from optical art and contemporary geometry.

The Quantum collection features three main models: the Quantum Thong, a futuristic take on the flip-flop, available in blue, transparent red, black, and light pink; the Quantum Platform, an open-toe platform mule offered in similar shades; and the Quantum Sneaker X, a closed sneaker with a distorted design available in transparent green, red, and black. Each pair uses Melissa’s vegan Melflex® material, with an ultra-transparent finish highlighted by Diesel’s “D” monogram, reimagined as a futuristic graphic element.

Designed to be inclusive, the range offers extended sizing, from EU 35 (US 5) to EU 43 (US 13), depending on the model. First unveiled in Japan on July 15, the collection is now available online through Melissa and Diesel’s websites, as well as select international boutiques. More than just a collaboration, it’s a fusion of responsible luxury, avant-garde design, and bold streetwear.
