The Verified Sustainable and Medal Ranking status awarded to each company highlights the dedication and effort towards adopting sustainable practices. As part of the evaluation process, MAGIC assesses each company’s positive impacts against the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals, which include social responsibility, responsible production, ethical practices, and environmental practices. This rigorous vetting underscores MAGIC’s commitment to sustainability and eliminating greenwashing in the fashion industry.

In alignment with the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals, MAGIC considers a company to be working towards sustainability if multiple of the practices are in process or adopted, such as ensuring a sustainable footprint of a product and packaging by considering compostability, recyclability, reusability, etc. As the premier market event of the year, the next edition of MAGIC Las Vegas will take place from August 19 to 21, 2024, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
