LEVI’S® X SACAI
Levi’s® teams up with Japanese fashion house sacai for a bold capsule collection that reimagines denim icons through Chitose Abe’s innovative lens. Staying true to her hybrid aesthetic, the designer fuses Levi’s® classics with unexpected silhouettes and structured details, creating garments that feel both familiar and radically new.
For women, three standout pieces define the collection: a denim jacket blending Type II, III, and I elements, a sculptural blouson in sacai’s signature matelassé twill, and a fluid jumpsuit with wide legs and refined details. Men’s styles lean toward a cleaner silhouette, featuring a jacket with vintage-inspired gold shanks and a reversible blouson mixing selvedge denim with premium finishes.
Unisex styles round out the collection, including ultra-wide 7-pocket jeans and a reversible belt with denim and grosgrain sides. Captured by Craig McDean and styled by Karl Templer, the campaign draws on James Dean’s spirit of freedom and timelessness, embodied by Chase Sui Wonders and Chandler Frye.
The collection launches globally on May 28 at Levi.com, Levi’s® stores, and sacai retailers, with exclusive releases in London and Hong Kong on May 26 and 27.
