JW ANDERSON X GUINNESS
The global fashion scene is currently abuzz with a collaboration that is as unexpected as it is inspiring: JW Anderson x Guinness.
This partnership celebrates Irish cultural heritage, reimagining it through a contemporary and creative aesthetic.
After an initial collaboration in 2024, the duo between designer Jonathan Anderson and the legendary Guinness brewery returns with a 17‑piece capsule that immerses us in the world of pubs, utilitarian denim, and the brand’s advertising archives.
This collection moves the outerwear game forward while maintaining a deep connection to heritage.
At the heart of this collaboration, Guinness’s visual heritage inspires silhouettes that swing between reworked workwear and sculptural pieces.
The collection features denim overalls, chore jackets, twisted jeans typical of the brand, as well as knitted garments and shirts printed with motifs drawn from historical advertising archives, such as a 1938 poem.
Materials and technical details evoke the textures of the Irish pub, from the carpets to the coasters, all transformed into jacquards, appliqués, and intricate embroidery.
This collection resonates strongly today, supported by an international campaign featuring figures like Little Simz and Joe Alwyn, who embody the creative energy and conviviality inherent to the project.
Beyond fashion, JW Anderson x Guinness is a celebration of history, community, and craftsmanship, where Guinness’s immediate graphic language is reinterpreted in the light of the sartorial expertise that defines the London brand.
