H&M X WHO DECIDES WAR

H&M has teamed up with Who Decides War to launch a new collection inspired by the little-known works of Jean-Michel Basquiat.
Focusing on the experience of black artists, this collaboration celebrates Basquiat’s influential legacy on contemporary art.
Stemming from the “King Pleasure” exhibition organized by Basquiat’s sisters in 2022, the collection will be available in selected stores and online.

Ev Bravado, co-founder of Who Decides War, wants to highlight the artists who influenced Basquiat, emphasizing the lasting impact of black art and culture.
Unlike past collaborations centered on Basquiat’s iconic motifs, this collection explores deeper, lesser-known themes.

Jean-Michel Basquiat, a key figure in the New York art scene of the 1980s, is renowned for his provocative, socially engaged works. His creations continue to resonate worldwide, confirming his status as a cultural icon.
