ALEXIS MABILLE SHINES AT THE LIDO
WITH A DAZZLING COUTURE SHOW

For Haute Couture Week in June 2024, Alexis Mabille chose the legendary Lido on the Champs-Élysées to present his Autumn-Winter 2024/2025 collection.
With the designer’s name displayed in giant letters on the façade, the event sets the tone for glamour and grandeur.

Upon entering the Lido, guests are greeted by giant screens showing behind-the-scenes footage of the preparation of the collection, immediately immersing them in the world of Mabille.
The lobby, decorated by the designer himself, offers a sophisticated ambience with bottles of Pommery champagne on every table, foreshadowing an evening sparkling with mischief.

The show begins in classic fashion with crepe, jersey, satin, lamé, velvet and sequined models, reflecting light and elegance in every movement.
Mabille highlights long cocktail dresses, perfect for social evenings.
Each piece captures the essence of mischievous, sparkling femininity, like a champagne bubble.

The highlight of the show is the appearance of burlesque star Dita Von Teese.
At 2pm, she emerges in a gigantic champagne glass, embodying joie de vivre and glamour to perfection.
Her chic and sexy striptease enchants the audience, reminding them that fashion can be both elegant and fun. “The idea was to have fun, to have fun, to forget everything that’s going on everywhere, and to keep that mischievous, creative side,” explains Alexis Mabille.

The ambience of the Lido, with its reddish accents and subdued lighting, adds a touch of magic to the show. The soundtrack, by Emmanuel Caurel, completes the experience, creating an enchanting atmosphere. The parade’s finale is marked by a shower of foam bubbles falling from the sky, enveloping the room and guests in an atmosphere of celebration and joy.

Alexis Mabille successfully blends the tradition of haute couture with a mischievous, festive spirit.
His Autumn-Winter 2024/2025 show at the Lido doesn’t just present clothes, it offers a true sensory experience, celebrating fashion in all its facets.
In a sometimes austere world, Mabille reminds us that couture can also be synonymous with pleasure and lightness, much to the delight of the fashion professionals and guests in attendance.
