COPERNI X PUMA
The Coperni brand, headed by talented duo Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant, has teamed up with German sportswear leader Puma to create a totally new sneaker. Called the 90 SQR model, it has just been unveiled, taking up the emblematic codes of the Puma Future.
This foray into the world of sports marks a first for the luxury French brand, Coperni, known for its attraction to technological advances. The brand, which has a strong following on social networks and is adept at sensationalism, previously captivated the fashion world by presenting a spray-on dress on American model Bella Hadid at Paris Fashion Week in October 2022, and then orchestrating a catwalk show featuring an army of robots last March.
The new square-toe sneaker, with its resolute elegance, is available in three shades: White, Asphalt and Mad Yellow. Commenting on the collaboration with Puma, Coperni founders Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant said: "We are very proud of this alliance with Puma. It's a significant step for a designer to launch his first sneaker. The 90SQR embodies all our shared values: innovation, minimalism, uniqueness. It's everything we imagined, and we're looking forward to introducing more Puma x Coperni models in the near future.
The Puma x Coperni 90SQR will go on sale from January 19, 2024 in Coperni boutiques, on coperniparis.com, and from January 22 at selected retailers.
