ACNE REPURPOSED, A NEED FOR CARELESSNESS

Brands are increasingly striving to respect nature and the environment by offering eco-responsible solutions such as improving water management in their production or waste management for example. Acne Studios, the Swedish luxury brand, has also provided an anti-waste solution with its "Repurposed 8" collection created from excess fabrics.

Acne Studio decided to bring a hint of lightness and carefreeness into our daily lives with "Repurposed 8" which consists of jeans, jackets, T-shirts and a wide range of accessories. Acne Studios did not want to hide this "mishmash" of fabrics but to advocate it by highlighting these patchwork effects and these bare backs held together by recycled strings. To go further in this return to childhood, the jeans are covered with drawings as on children's notebooks and writings such as "do not fxxx with my world". The clogs and bags made of patchwork of jeans steal the show in the collection by being original and moreover of recycled fabrics.

By combining aestheticism and eco-responsibility together, Acné Studios strikes a blow and appeals to a large public sensitive to this cause.
