HITËKW, THE FUTURISTIC RACKET DESIGNED BY AN IA
In a consumer society where everything is fast-changing, disposable, and re-purchasable, a brand new, more durable racquet made from advanced materials and manufacturing techniques is opening up new perspectives in the world of sports. The All Design Lab team has pushed the limits of imagination with their brand new "Hìtëkw" racquet; lighter, stronger and with a futuristic design that is infinitely more aesthetic.
To create a brand new racquet and to give a modern touch to the equipment of the sports world, this design studio has shown originality in the creation of this one. Indeed, All Design Lab decided not to make a simple mood board but to send the description of a modern racquet to negative algorithms and software DALL.E and Midjourney, using the "text-to-image" function. Thus, the software ended up creating this design which was then reworked in 3D giving this racquet an uncommon aesthetic, with a basic head and foot but with a Y-shaped "throat" formed by a multitude of organic branches, making it infinitely lighter and optimal to use. The quality of the result of the algorithms could only be achieved with source material allowing the software to offer a whole new design and redesign the racquet.
The "Hìtëkw" is not only more aesthetically pleasing, but it also provides a whole new level of performance for players thanks to its light weight and operation. Its stronger, less material-intensive frame created in 3D metal printing makes it more durable and environmentally friendly. Its resemblance to a tree is striking and earned it the name "Hìtëkw" meaning "tree" among the Lenape, a Native American people originating from New York.
