Maredamare, the stage for the latest beachwear trends and innovations, is committed to presenting a virtuous and conscious generation of beachwear at the fair. Maredamare is confirmed as a sustainable trade fair, certified ISO 20121. The path to economic, social and environmental sustainability is in continuous progress.

In collaboration with Rete Clima, the activities linked to the Maredamare 2024 event organized by Underbeach Srl (such as design, implementation, participant mobility, energy, materials, food and drink, waste, etc.) were analyzed in order to quantify the carbon footprint and offset it until the event was “climate neutral”.

Based on the carbon footprint calculation, the event’s greenhouse gas emissions were actively managed through the support of the VCS-Verra certified solar power carbon offset project VCS 1792 – Ghani Solar Renewable Power Project by Greenko Group in India, which aims to generate a clean form of electricity by harnessing solar energy. The trade show will take place from July 20 to 22, 2024, at  Fortezza da Basso, Florence, Italy.
