Maria Grazia Chiuri, artistic director of the Dior brand, gave us a show of quality with this sixties inspiration, for which nothing better than the famous Miss Dior collection created by Marc Bohan in 1957. One of the key elements of the show was the return to the roots: the 60s, accompanied by the two words MISS DIOR. This return to the past is one of the elements we notice in our Women 24-25 book, as the elegance of the era resurfaces.

"Maria Grazia Chiuri has turned her attention to the transitional era of the late 60s, when fashion left the atelier to conquer the world" Press release.

As for our Moroccan brand, Casablanca proposes a contradiction between light and color, with light colors predominating in this show, but red and green disrupting the chain. With a futuristic edge, our Moroccan designer set himself apart ( image of the show )Patterns and sequins that take us into the imaginary world, while adding a touch of modernity..

In this Fashion Week, the colorful has made its place... However, the dark has also deserved our attention! That's what Givenchy has in store for us, with a dark color palette focused mainly on black. From the asymmetrical looks and glamorous reds on the catwalk to the lace wedding gown, the dark side makes its presence felt.

But what about accessories? What about shoes? How can we pass up Schiaparelli's crocodile-skin thigh-high boots, or the tie, which is completely in keeping with the surreal retro style?

Let's end our analysis with one of the most atypical shows of all... Balenciaga, which offers us a fashion show made up of clothes that are still labeled, or even layered on top of each other. Demna, the brand's artistic director, denounced overconsumption in his own way. eBay packages as invitations containing candlesticks, puppies and porcelain dolls, but also digital backdrops scrolling through various landscapes (desert, snowy spaces, etc.). Elements that encourage us to be sensitive to our surroundings.

On the other hand, if we pay attention to the details, the mannequins are chewing gum, a detail that clusters among several other elements that relate to Generation Y, more commonly known as "the Millenials". Whether with plastic headbands, necklaces or colorful key chains, this fashion show brought emotion and wonder.

This event will never cease to surprise and impress us. And if we are to believe the brands, our closets will have to be clothed in the past...
