In just four years, this European brand has succeeded in modernising the ideals of French sartorial elegance with a refined pragmatism. This remarkable entrepreneurial feat has propelled Cadieux Paris to the heights of the ready-to-wear industry.
Global citizen… and designer.
Cadieux. The sound of this name instantly plunges us into the narrow streets of a French town. And yet, this up-and-coming label on the Paris fashion scene is far from being entirely French, quite the opposite.
Founded by Klara Cadieux in 2015, the (very) high-end ready-to-wear brand has its roots in Croatia, the home country of the designer with strong entrepreneurial genes. Living between New York and Dakar, Shanghai and Oslo, this woman who describes herself as a brand ambassador began to develop her own designs when she was living in Dubai.
Supported by her two partners, she designs luxury collections with a contemporary minimalism, celebrating the beauty as well as the high standards of European production through sophisticated fashion.
A revisited style heritage
Cadieux has set itself the mission of crafting a bold wardrobe for free and feminine women in search of an elegant style juxtaposed with trendy twists.
A micro cocktail dress embroidered with sparkling nude sequins, a deceptively demure azure tweed suit, an immaculate blouse with Andalusian accents or a shimmering feather coat: the spring/summer 2019 collection continues this dialogue between modernity and heritage, romanticism and power dressing. “Our purpose is to create effortlessly chic fashion for women across the globe. This idea is the very core of our brand because we believe that fashion should be liberating instead of restrictive,” the founder proudly explains on her website.
A pragmatic vision that has clearly won over stylists, society clientele and celebrities.
