Designed by the studio AKZ architectura, the Blushhh! shop is an immense showroom spanning 100 square metres located in Kiev, Ukraine. Already known for its architectural work that is developing a very distinctive aesthetic, blending Art Deco inspiration, plays of light and loaded motifs, AKZ architectura has once again designed an atypical and particularly “Instagrammable” space.
A functional design
Blushhh! is a shop designed on two levels: the clothing is lined up at a height, while accessories such as shoes are placed at your feet. This arrangement mirrors the use of each item and accessory and allows customers to find their bearings around the offering on display. It also places a real visual emphasis on the accessories, which are sometimes difficult to reach or hidden away.
Natural light is also used to perfection thanks to reflective white panels or mirrors scattered over the floor and the walls to create the illusion of an exceptionally spacious area.
A very “Instagrammable” shop
With Blushhh!, AKZ architectura has also created a shop with a carefully considered and particularly photogenic aesthetic. Blushhh! offers a play on colours, combining industrial tones like grey and white with fresher shades such as pink. The highly structured and geometric lines, the host of neon lights and the wallpaper with Memphis motifs make it a striking visual space, which has been designed to be photographed and shared on social media.
With Blushhh!, AKZ architectura shows that the design of a shop nowadays meets a new imperative: its highly visual and “Instagrammable” dimension. This aims to boost its visibility and appeal to as many customers as possible.
