This autumn, Asos is launching the White collection just for men. With basic pieces and a minimalist style, we take a look at a timeless wardrobe to wear (and re-wear) season after season…
FASHION FOR EVERYONE
Since being founded in 2000 by Nick Robertson and Quentin Griffiths, Asos has gone from strength to strength. The British brand offers a wide variety of items for a young, dynamic clientèle with men’s and women’s clothing, shoes, home décor, beauty, and maternity and tall lines. Whether casual, chic or vintage, every style has a place on the e-commerce site.
And Asos isn’t planning to stop there: 5 years after the launch of the Women’s White collection, the brand is introducing its White line for men.
BASICS GIVEN CENTRE-STAGE
For this first collection, Asos has opted for functional, minimalist pieces. Wool suits, neoprene sweatshirts, chunky knits, chino trousers and cocoon coats feature among the brand’s 90 exclusive pieces (with only around forty currently available). The stylish yet urban looks are cleverly complemented by equally desirable accessories – including bags, glasses, scarves and sneakers – to give its basics a bit of added va va voom!
Asos has shown off pieces with impeccable loose cuts in neutral tones, such as grey, beige, white and black, with touches of teal and lilac, to energise this début collection.
Just like the Women’s White collection, the brand is once again showcasing premium fabrics. In wool, thick jersey, cotton, velvet, mohair and more, these essentials are stripped back to a maximum for an elegant look with sportswear accents.
New pieces will be released gradually between now and February 2019.
